As a contract attorney, I have assisted in dozens
of cases ramping up for Settlement Conference and Trial. There are times that firms do not have the manpower to devote to
summarizing discovery and prepping exhibits as litigation draws to a close. I have provided that service in an effective manner
as the temporary associate that can get in there and get the job done.
I am proficient with Summation, but if there
is some other Windows-driven program that you use, experience has shown that I master new software quickly. If you are not
using summary software, of course I am able to use the traditional tools to make sure that the information needed for trial
is presented in a cogent and organized manner. In fact, even if there is no system in place, I could help you develop one
quickly in order to put your documents together for lead counsel to have his/her most relevant exhibits handy to make trial
presentation go smoothly.
Like many practicing attorneys, I have often had to become an expert on a topic to be able
to weed out the relevant information from the merely responsive. For example, in the Remeron case, I worked as an effective
part of a discovery team even though my area of expertise had never been FDA filings and the effect of such filings on patent
extension. I was quickly able to learn the salient law, and dig out documents that helped to make our case. I can provide
such assistance on your case as well.
Most people do not think of document review as an exciting area of law. I enjoy
the challenge of looking for that needle in the haystack, and the development of a winning trial theory. For me, it opens
up like a big puzzle, with the knowledge that Id be helping my side to make their best case. I find it is easy to be
tireless as time is drawing nigh. Its not for everyone to work under time pressure and sort through thousands of documents
while keeping up a spirit of positive cooperation. It is for me.
I have contracted at an hourly rate, on a contingent
basis, and with a mixed payment option. I am sure that we could find an option that works for you and your firm.
Thank
you for taking the time to view my website. I look forward to assisting you in your next litigation challenge.
